"Ernest Hemingway's Typewriter, Key West" by Catherine Sherman.
Hemingway wrote some of his best work in his Key West, Florida, office, which was in a building behind the main house. His work in Key West included the short story classics "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" and "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber", his novel "To Have And Have Not," and the non-fiction work "Green Hills of Africa."
This was Hemingway's home from 1931 to 1939, although he retained title to the home until he died in 1961. The house is now a private, for-profit landmark and tourist attraction now populated by six- and seven-toed cats that are descendants of Hemingway's cats. The office appears as it was when when Hemingway wrote there. Sometimes you'll find a cat sitting in one of the chairs.

That's really something comparing in what we now have... L/F
Catherine Sherman replied:
Yes, it's amazing how different composing is now. I've typed on the old style typewriters for work as a journalist, and it's tough.
Lynn Sprowl
