The Stowe Community Church is a spot of white among the brilliant autumn foliage of Stowe, Vermont, a small New England town known for its nearby mountain resort. The town may have a small population of only about 5,000, but it is second largest in area in Vermont.
Stowe was chartered June 8, 1763 by Royal Governor Benning Wentworth of the New Hampshire colony.
