Description
This noble car, a 1954 Packard Patrician, is parked in an automotive museum near Taos, New Mexico. The car may look a little down on its luck, but it's still much admired by many visitors.
Packard was the America version of the Rolls Royce, and the Patrician models were the premiere models, aptly named after the old Roman term for aristocrat or noble.
The Packard Patrician was built by the Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan, from model years 1951 through the 1956. Of the 2,769 Patricians that Packard produced in 1954, only a few dozen are still registered in service.
