A shepherd tends his flock of sheep in a high-altitude pasture under the towering peaks of Mount Chicon and adjoining Andes mountains in Peru. The pasture near Urubama is above 10,000 feet. Mount Chicon (Ch'iqun) stands at 18,140 feet elevation (5,530 meters).
