Description
"Silver Cascade in Autumn, New Hampshire" by Catherine Sherman.
The Silver Cascade tumbles and falls about 300 feet along Route U.S. 302 in Hart's Location, New Hampshire, in the White Mountains..
Silver Cascade drains down the southwestern side of Mount Jackson, which is one of New Hampshire’s 48 4,000-footer mountains. The falls continue under US-302, eventually converging with the Saco River below the highway.
Because it's right next to the highway, Silver Cascade is one of the most popular waterfalls in New England. It is especially beautiful when adorned with Autumn foliage.
