Description
"Alligator Hazard" by Catherine Sherman.
Golfers need to be careful near the sand trap. Two alligators bask in the sun at a pond on Osprey Point Golf Course, one of five golf courses in Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina. Several more alligators were lounging elsewhere and also lurking in the water.
The Osprey Point course at Kiawah Island was designed by Tom Fazio and is recognized as one of the "50 Best Golf Courses for Women" by Golf for Women magazine.
American alligators are found in the southeast United States and live in freshwater environments, such as ponds, marshes, wetlands, rivers, lakes, and swamps, as well as in brackish environments. When they construct alligator holes in the wetlands, they increase plant diversity and provide habitat for other animals during droughts.

I'm outta there!
Catherine Sherman replied:
Thankfully, I was across the pond, although there were several more alligators lurking in the water.
