Description
"Middle Bridge, a Covered Bridge in Woodstock, Vermont" by Catherine Sherman.
The Middle Covered Bridge in Woodstock, Vermont, was built in 1969 to replace a previous steel bridge. It's a 139-foot span crossing the Ottauquechee River, in the middle of the village of Woodstock at the village square.
The town was named after Woodstock in Oxfordshire, England, as a homage to both Blenheim Palace and its owner, George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough. The town was first settled in 1768 by James Sanderson and his family and was incorporated in 1837.
There are three covered bridges in Woodstock.

I used to see bridge often when I would take my paintings to the gallery close by it. I lived one town over from Woodstock in Bridgewater Corners, so your photoograph indeed brings back memories.

So far I have been to two of your 6 images at the bottom (1/16). Of course, I live in NH, so likely I have been to both. Nice shots, Catherine.
Catherine Sherman replied:
Thank you, Betsy! Vermont and New Hampshire are really beautiful and very photogenic.
